The S2 baffle has been cut down.

Trust me, they were not good pipes, lotsa roadrash & dents, no way would you put them on a half decent bike. It was fun cutting them open though.
Not sure about the S2 baffle, the ones I have are all the same length..

Same pipes, just a bit of a length difference on the baffle, otherwise identical..
FWIW, I think Kawasaki cut the balls off the KH400 with intake & jetting changes only, just compare the S3 snail housing to the restrictive plastic crap fitted to the KH..
I used the S3 housing & carb internals on my KH, goes like snot off a stick..

yip but baffle will make a difference to overall performance as it extends further into the expansion chamber.  albeit marginal

agreed on carbs and airbox.

can see why the s2's fly, so muc more expansion there

i too think those s2 baffles are way too short

think you need to take your bike for a very long and hard run

judging by the state of the baffle

I think your right,It's just one i had in an old pipe Gary Speaking of baffles would you have any h1 baffles?i am looking for some for an h1d.
