Hi guys, I got the S3 going with new Mikuni 26mm carbs and stock size jets, needles and slide etc, the first run was with open back carbs and It bogged a little in the mid range, I've fitted thin foam filtters now and it didn't want to pull passed 4,000, I've lowered the needle one notch (4th slot from bottom) and it's better but still bog's passed 6,000, should I lower the needles another notch or change the needles for a leaner one?

I have 85 mains in but I'll be upping them to 100's.

Filter are for coffee!

I'm going to take the S3 down to Bob Farnham for set up, He has a Dyno and it's worth the £120 odd, I'd be fafin around for weeks trying to get it right.

Only problem is he just went on holiday for 3 weeks so soon as he gets back.

I'll be busy with the H2 project now anyway.
