Decided to do the top end on the 250 this week as it was smoking really bad, pistons and rings supplied by mr lister Cheers Simon,
Simon checked over the barrels and there was a little bit of scoring but nothing too serious, the pistons had a lot of overblow but decided for what it costs to put pistons and rings in ,rather than just rings

popped them in tonight , cranked it up and the right hand side was rattling like fook ,  took the top end off again and noticed i had put the piston in the wrong fooking way (arrow pointing the wrong way )    this is what you get when you have been working all day and rushing tonight to get it done

still smokes a bit but will take it out on a run first , I think its all the build up of crap in the exhausts what do you think?

moral of the story is Dont rush

It might be up for sale soon though as i want a GPZ 600

Cheers
Al
