Bob Farnham modded the piston skirts while he was doing the re-bore.
Not sure how much material he removed but looked like a lot! |

A little vid of the bike (Thanks WB), this with premix in the tank and the oil pump running so a little smokey, it still needs setting up etc.

Cant say how much i have enjoyed this project its been subperb from beginining to end and what a finished bike, a show winner everytime and if it isnt there is something wrong with the world or the people judging these things, lol. the attention to detail has almost been obsesive .
Cant wait for the vids to round it all off
So looking forward as well to the Kwikasfaki project posts |

Nice one Cabbie, it's a great feeling when that last bolt gets tightened up.

Just a follow up to say I took the bike out for it's first proper run this afternoon (now I can change gear, lol) did about 5 miles and it handles superb, goes round corners without twitching and the Ohlins suspension is awesome.
Well happy, just need to get the carbs set now. |
