hi, I'm from canada. afew months ago this guy told me that he has this bike, but it didn't run and it needed some work so I took her off his hands well here it is. found out that it needed a new piston, it was bad. Afew other things need to be done on it such as shocks, the forks and the rear ones. the past owner told me ti was sitting in the snow for a little while.
the front fender, I thought it couldn't be cleaned up because of all the rust but I was wrong. I took all the rust off and it looks pretty good

Hi Jeremy, and welcome to the board :-D
I think Brian is right looks like S1 front forks to me so it might be earlier than you thought. Either way it is good to see someone else getting stuck in to restoring one of the little Kwaks. |

| I was told by Simon afew months back that it is a kh250 A5 but I got a problem though. did these bikes come with a rear fender? I really might need one so I can get this thing on the road. are there rebuild kits for the front shocks? and where can a get back shocks. the ones that I have now are bad and needing to be replaced and the front ones well their the same shape |

not in your part of the world, rear fenders were just for us europeans, and we took them off and binned them anyway!
A set of seals and fresh oil will help your forks, rear shocks are available on us ebay, not original but close
