Will the kickstart lever from a kh125a1-a4(1977-81) fit a kh250 b3?. If not is anyone on ere  willing to sell me a proper one "CHEEP" 70's kid (Paul)

i dont think so, but have also seen how cheap it is for a brand new one  might be worth having a look
