I'm beginning to wonder if Cabbie is simply a wizard with Photoshosop....
I mean how can you build a complete bike, cutting, drilling, sawing, buffing and grinding, and still have a mint kitchen worktop like that at the end....?
I'm half expecting to see the missus in the background preparing the Sunday lunch.

So, due to public demand the bars are now GOLD
And as I've come to hate the black rims the wheels are off and being sent for re-anodising gold too
Next problem was using a switched banjo and not having enough clearance for the swing arm travel
A visit to the breakers yard today found an Aprilia master cylinder that solved the problem

New 26mm Mikuni's
But the new throttle cable has been made with an odd size cable and it won't fit the carb cap! will have to see how bad the original cable is.

Got the carbs fitted and made the oil tank mounting brackets, just need to get them welded on, I cleaned up the old throttle cable and it's ok.
Not much room for air filters so I'll have to make some.
Here's the bike being put though some heat cycles to run the engine in (think I over did the 2 stroke oil a bit!) When the wheels are back on my mate will get some vid of it running out side.

Not much happened this week, been doing the waiting thing!
The wheels are now re-anodised gold and soon as they arrive back I'll be fitting new tyres, I've found a new throttle cable that fits, still waiting on the off-set front sprocket from Talon engineering though.

So, got the oil tank fitted and plumbed up
And the wheels re-anodised gold with new rubber, I'm so pleased I did this as the black just messed the look of the bike up.
