Had a problem, I forgot to weld on a lug for the rear master cylinder reservoir! after a bit of head scratching I found a nice location for it
The rest of the day I made up the exhaust pipe brackets and finished the repairs on the pipe ends, I'll get them all welded up tomorrow and see what the cost of re-chroming will be!

I got the new pipe straps welded on and the rear sets finished and fitted
The re-chromed plate holder is done and the light is now fitted
The carbs won't be ready till next week so the start up will have to wait
It's looking ok now

I've just finished the electrics and all is working ok, I took the bike out for some SUN photo's (might not get another chance this year, lol)
I'm still waiting for the new carb's but I just had to put the old carb's on to see if it'll start, fcuk me, second kick and it fired up on two cylinders, I didn't have a throttle cable attached so a little play with the idle screws and it was perring on all 3 cylinders! sounded sweet too. happy days. |
