Looking good, phil  :thumright:  Love those rims. What are they ? Nice colour, too. Wait for response from wolfie, bri, si or mow on the electrics.

Wilkommen Phil, did you say 'Electrics'? I've got the ears of an ork you know... :thumright:

OK then when you say 'nothing' works, is that absolutely nothing? no lights no indication bulbs, ignition... zip?

two of the multiplugs inside the h/lamp are the same fitting :oops:  got it wrong does the engine have to have a earth strap for the nutral switch  on rubber mounted engines :smt102  phil

You can see if the multi plugs are incorrect by looking at the wires within them, connect colour to same colour wires, it will be completely dead if these two are transposed.

There should be an earth strap on all rubber mounted engines which is not just there for the neutral switch.

I will start this by saying graham knows much more than me about electrics but;

I have never had a earthstrap on any of my 400's ever, and never had problems.

I 'think' that earth straps are only required for CDI 400's

Even if the fuse/fuses look good, change them.  I had one that looked perfect, but was not connected inside the endcaps
