My S1c was wicked especially when cold, squeeking the front tyre was quite easy until this last (resto) strip down.
Now I don't know, not had chance to really try it yet. |
always found drums to fade quicker than discs but i'm no demon rider

I got the brakes working better over this past weekend, all I did was make loose the 2 large alan bolts that hold the 2 sides together, wack a few times with a rubber mallet and re tension. They work somewhat better now so thinking if I strip completely and re kit they will be fine. Also put the front wheel on a wheel trueing machine today and found it is out of wack a little side to side and up and down so thats coming off this week to get right. The bike should track better then and the brakes will work better too. It is all coming together as we go along. Next stop will be the rear end. _________________ Cheers

Went out on the S1c Yesterday (Sunday), that TLS front brake is lousy now, it probably need wearing even again so that both shoes bite at the same time.
