best to run with the mini inline filters for a while to stop the pilots from clogging up.You soon get pissed off constantly pulling the carbs to clean them......

would not recommend getting any pipes chromed that have pits, especially along the top seam, bit like having a wheel rim done, unless the firm is extremely reccommended for attention to detail, which puts up the price of course,
been there with old dissapointment as the old pits stand out like dayglow !!,..."well we can only work with what you bring us",.. , thanks for your £300, be very wary of the company your thinking of using, just trying to help,

Be careful with needle valves !! just use carb cleaner or the little buggers will never seal again ! and cost a fortune i spent over hunred quid on mine !

hi tom im a newbie also with a 250 b1 (fancied  a change from aircooled rds )mines part restored but still needs lots of work has not been taxed since 1990 so has been standing for some time!
