Also Ive had tremendous (sp?) help from several site members on here to, with both parts and good advice... Good look with your search...Dave. |
thanks for that dave
ive got an 1975 S1c for sale, correct frame and engine numbers, with the correct front drum brake. was going to ebay it.
standard pipes, and standard blue paint, good side panels, no lugs missing with the original badges and it also has standard pipes, still has the airbox and centre stand too
definately a project.no logbookbut if you get it to mot standard it aint hard to register
all in one piece but engine is seized although engines do seem to come up on ebay, which would be the cheaper option me thinks??
looking for £450 for it.
pm me if interested |

The bike is a real bitsa, what with the drum brake front end etc. As simon says ( no jokes please we've heard um all before !!) its not a bad deal at £300 but not much more with all the missing parts.

Pitty quite liked the idea of a 3-1 pipe
Well I bid up to £400 and was still outbid :( be interested to see what it finally goes for - oh well back to the classifieds
Thanks for the info everyone

I don't know much, but I do know the Piper 3 into 1 system is a complete waste of time. Completely kills top end power while adding nothing anywhere else. Probably why nobody else ever made one. |
