hi 30yrs

Im sorry to be the bearer of bad news  but you have no chance on getting a 250 with out digging a little deeper ,

G6mows got a bitsa on a the the moment no tax mot ,good compression and will require work  but he will still get £500.00 /£600.00 for it
by the sounds of it your wanting, taxed & tested,  I sold mine last month and it wasnt mint but I still pulled £1,200.00 for it

good runner ?????  the triples are not the type of bikes you can set up and leave , im always messing with mine

or am i wrong guys ????

cheers Al
g6mow

thinks that when set up right should get a few thou miles out of em' without any tinkering, unless habitual tinkerer !!,...

dirty points, duff plugs, fueling probs, oooo whats that rattle, does it need a rebore,  electric shortouts, got a chrome pit,...

guess i've mellowed abit now to all the the abnormalities,..and just ride the darn thing,..but never forget to fill up the 2T tank,

dont be concerened by fuel consumption,

I think what Al's getting at is , Triples are'nt the sort of bike you can park up for 6 months till the next sunny day and think you can roll it out and start it first kick
180kid

ok, fuzzy carbs /flat battery on the list,..
simonh

you two fuddlers cant, mines a crock of shit and still starts first kick
180kid

but you aint got any wheels,...so going nowhere

plus 1

my kh250 started 1st kick, returned 40 to the gallon & I never laid a spanner on it for over 10,000 miles

oh my h1a did 12,000 before I had to touch the points too

Am I just lucky?

or if everything is set up right and in good condition then everything should last quite a while
