surprises in my s2 motor!Well began tearing down my s2 yesterday and got the center and right cylinders off. For the most part the first two to come off looked pretty good and the rings were even free. The motor was still stuck, and the left cylinder was proving to be very difficult to get off. The cylinder was ruined in the process and this is what inside the crankcase looked like.
Drained the fluid from the transmission and this is what came out. Half water, half green colored oil.

ya, the other two cylinders looked great. THis one is horrible. Over at kawasaki triples worldwide they advise going with a 6 bearing crank. Is it really worth modifying to make work?

yes, i have been told that new 2 more oilways must be drilled. This is what i am worried about. Is it as simple as drilling 2 new holes?

thats ugly in there !,
presuming the 6 bearing crank is a 250 ?,...they do turn up, easy meat to swap it out, and can take some hammer as same as bigger 400,..the crank i have in my 350 is a 250 and a low mileage 4k one, also using the 250 cases,.just popped on the 350 top end,
has to be the oil ways in the crank cases?,.sure you can copy them if ya' get some 250 parts,... 8) mod,
