S3 top end on an S2 motor?I have a S2. I have a nice set of S3 Jugs, heads and new pistons. Can I put 2 and 2 together? Are the rods the same size?

Not an uncommon conversion, and a bolt on. I would personally modify the case transfer tunnel to match as the 250 is much smaller. But guys do just bolt on the top ends and gooooo.......... :D

It is NOT a bolt on...250 to 350 is...350 to 400 is possible if you machine the crankcase mouths...

Thanks guys for sharing your wealth of knowledge. So your saying I have to machine the crankcase mouth. Could you explain why? Do the jugs just not fit? Are the rods the same length? Thanks again guys I have learned so much from this Forum.

Rod length and stroke is the same on all the S bikes. The 400 bore is a lot larger, so the mouth in the cases is too smalll on 350 cases.

or you could just buy a set of 400 cases to go with your jugs and swap all the internals from your 350 over, if you get a kh400 they are rubber mounted
the cases fit in the frame with no mods
