S3 Rear mudguardHi Guys
Dont laugh but I am looking for a rear mudguard (not the inner one) for my 74 S3, I have been looking for quite a while now but they seem very rare  . Hope someone can help.
Cheers Kev

Hi Kev
If your not a purist a KH250/400 mudguard will fit no problem.
Are you coming to the Blackpool Rally

Thanks for the quick replies chaps
I'm not sure about a purist, but my intentions have changed since I bought the bike last year (US import from RB) and a resto is more likley now rather than a special which I had planned, so a genuine S3 mudguard would be best but maybe a kh will have to do.
I would like to get to the rally but Im afraid it wont be on a Kawasaki (still gathering parts) unless I buy your blue hybrid Simon ! Speaking of parts I need a pair of side panels if you have them, If its OK I will give you a ring and come and pick them up possibly Friday or Saturday or next week ? which ever suits you.

I might have one, from a 74 Euro/Aussie spec (long).
I bought one in parts and didn't use the guard at the time, however I cant ID it without a picture- I have a heap of mixed up triple bits.
Always kept the guards as it was part of our MOT equivalent. Cant remember parting with it.

Ok, does it use the same bracket setup at the top rear?
And does it have the same profile on the edge?
Must be a H1D one I'm looking at, because I have been looking for another 72 S series without much luck.
Australian bikes have a mix of Euro/US spec - guards are Euro.

Probably ,I have a stack of stuff accumulated over the last 25+ years and all unmarked.....Guards were always low priority but never thrown out.
They were always the first thing ( unless it had a fairing) I removed from a new bike & put aside.
