Hi! Did You get them? Any ideas on jetting? I also have a set I'm rebuilding now, but I'm not sure what jets to put in there...

Uh! Asking me? My S2 got a set of KH4's from ebay for 37$ 8) Going for 2,0 cutaway and stock needle/jet, but maybe up a bit (95) on mains? And I'll try the 25 pilot.

Looked really nice, but everything in them were REALLY stuck like welded in place.

One fuel inlet tube were blocked by tons of crap. Dremel solved that 1.. :P

Here's the result of 2 hrs labour. Heat, oil, air, swear...

This is only the last 5% of the crap after being dipped in phosphoric acid(carefully) and scraped, scrubbed and flushed in hot water.

Nearly a whole day taking them apart. But got it in the end. Now they're on the counter. Waiting for me to find out how to get the right finish look on outside... Dipped them in ultrasonic cleaner(citrus acid) for 15 mins. Now they are clean but dull... Anyone know how I can get them look right? Bead blast - polish - leave'em as now?

Tried out the S3 carbs now for a week or so. Ultrasonic cleaned and with new Keyster kits. All right! I've been warned about them kits, but where are all the quality spare parts for Mikunis?

Started on 30 pilots, 2,0 cutaway, third clip and 97,5 mains. Not a very good combination for me, it seemed... No power before 6000 rpms. Air screw nearly fell out from where I had to have them...

Next step was 25 pilots and 2 turns out from seat on air screws - the same elsewhere, but no big success...

Down to 22,5 S3 pilots, and the power is there from the very bottom. But 1/4 to 1/2 throttle is boring! Spark plugs are dry chocolate brown...

Second clip from bottom. Sync'd carbs again as on&off all the time has altered this a little. Think I moved clip wrong direction..

Clip on second from top. A bit better, with another half a turn out on air screws...

I know mains are probably too big now, but want to leave them in there for now. Will try tomorrow with top clip, new NGK's and check timing aswell... Haven't done that for a loooong time.

Let's see if anyone in here can  me.

Want to try these carbs with UFO's before winter, so I've started out on a tedious project... Will share with all if success...
