Rear wheel spindle castle nut

Hi Guys&gals. Does anyone know what size the rear wheel spindle castle nut is?. Ie m14/m16/m18 ? could really do with finding out as thiers a stainless one on ebay, it would replace my grotty one quite nicely. Cheers. 70's kid(Paul)
