My S3Bought this S3 from RB last year and I have finally got round to making a start on it, thought I would post a few pics as I go along
As I started to strip the paint from the tank it became apparent that someone had previously gone to a great deal of trouble to strip off all the original paint right down to bare metal but leaving the original decal intact ! they obviously then got so pissed off with it that they decided to paint it all red but no primer first ! at least I know the original colour now. There was also a tidy dent which had been filled with 'bondo' I knew there was a small dent in the side of the tank but this one was a nice suprise
Anyway tank has now been fully stripped, cleaned inside (suprisingly rust free) and dents pulled out - that was fun !
I will post more as I go along

original decal position is no problem,...give or take 1/8 inch,...nice to see that under paint, well rubbed,...light blue S3,
just about to deafen the dog,...!!
have seen wrong S1C in this S3 colour too,.
