8) definatley less,...thats why rechargable wind up torches, inspection lights etc are all Leds now,
15 Leds = 3.6v on my torch,...ya' cant look at it :o

very low current consumption. but leds are very directional so only really good for tail lights and front marker lamps unless you have a very high tec reflector....

The current drawn for a 40 LED brake light is so low that the bulb warning indicator gives a false alarm, so guess what?
I had to hide a small bulb in the tail piece! :roll:

its the rear i was planning
when i was running mini indicators, i had a brace of bulbs in the tailpiece - so the relay worked :lol:

Fit a car indicator relay (3 terminals), then it has a wider tolerance of bulb wattage for a good flash rate.
Simple mod, two wires as usual, then another wire from relay pin 3 to ground.
Then Robert is your mother's brother.
