KH400 starting problems...I have a KH400.I've had it 3 month or so.In that time I think I have tried everthing I know.It will start easily from cold & run well, but if you stop it,thats it,it will not start, you could kick start it for a week! But,a short bump start & off it goes.Is this a regular thing with KH400's?Has anybody any advice or suggestion's?
Cheers Steve

When you bump start it warm, does it start instantly or does it have to be coaxed along and pick up slowly?

piss taking aside, simon had a problem with his, it would never start! not sure what it was in the end.
I would slacken off the chokes to barely seat and check the pilots and airways are clear
and set airscrews to 1.5 to 1.75 turns out
obviously make sure timing is spot on, could be the exciter coils are faulty i seem to remember they have that fault when hot, wolfie will confirm if thats electrically viable
