Welcome Aspes :D

Who did you buy the bike off ?

Might be worth giving Dave Higgs a PM, he is an active member on this board :)
His user name is HIGGSPEED !!!
BIG AL

Welcome to the forum Aspes

Like Simon says

Dave's (Higgspeed) the man you need to speak to, he will give you a steer on jets etc

Cheers

too be honest sounds like the carbs are blocked or just have wrong jets in.

Daves pipes are very good but not extreme as some are. so will bolt on and go with a few adjustments.

but i'll let the pipemaster chirp in 8)

yes you need the air, but get some uni type filters not those coned chrome things,
seem to remember Dave coming round to measure the Denco specs for his pipes,...from piston to exhaust can joint somewhere, specific for a power pipe !,..if thats the case wont be far off these, 95 on the mains, up one from standard on the pilots and drop the needle one,...suppose all is dependant on bore size and airscrew for fastest idle,..keep your eye on the mid-range thats where it can get lean, needle territory, usually find the bike is happiest always on the gas....it shouldnt hold back,...
tricky to get spot on, a scream to ride with 48t back sprocket !, certainly an improvement to standard pipes, pops the wheel at every occasion,..
give it lots or wrist action,..  :P

sure bricep has a good running Higgsy bike too ? as it were the test mule,...

Have had a 125 Aspes Juma for racing on 1980 and 1981 on which I've won the production race 125 endurance french championship on 1981.
Was shot at more 180 km/H by a radar at Albi track, not bad for a road legal bike at this time: wonderful bike.
