kh250 shocker mountingStripping my 1981 kh250 shock absorber doesn't seem to be mounted right, at the top where it fits onto the welded bar, there is a load of spare space, there is a rubber mount inside the shocker itself, but should there not be another rubber spacer or something to take up the space behind it and then it allows it to tighten up the chromed nut..
does that make sense

You will need the grab rail a chrome flat washer a spring washer then the nut
I think you need a parts book, it helps if you've never done one before
This might help
