70V !!!!!
No wonder the things fried. that needs a little more investigation before you hook up another rectifier Eric.

The Wolfman
|
Its a single phase full wave rectifier, about 20v AC input (yellow to yellow) should be nearer the mark.

i never clicked, you should hook that up to the national grid

One of my customers has a wind turbine generator in his garden,if he is not using any electric and the wind is powering the generator it puts electric in to the national grid and he gets paid for it...

I heard that you had to sell them the excess power....
|
kas750
|
He didn't mention that.He did say that it cost about 15k to buy and install but at the time there was a government grant available to virtually cover the cost...

The grants often force you to use a certain supplier, guess what? they usually charge a lot more than you could actually get it done for which negates the benefit of the grant.
Sorry we're getting off subject, if you can't find the problem with the excess voltage Eric, simply hook it up to your house.
