kawasaki triples bible book - author requests help

Hi there triples fans;

I am writing a book called the kawasaki triples bible for Veloce Books UK, due for publication in summer 2010. ( You can see my Cafe Racer Phenomenon book at www.veloce.co.uk if you fancy a general history of the cafe racer BTW).

The triples book will be a model history of the H and S series road bikes, tech specs, a look at US racers at Daytona, flat track and drag strips, plus a chapter on the KH400 series in the UK.

Anyone with info on the dealer-backed 400s in the series, or those who took part, helped as spannermen etc in the KH400 series please get in touch - nobody has really written up the history of that series.

Obviously anyone with nice original examples of 250/350/400/500/750 bikes who would like a pic of their pride n joy in the book, or if you have old archive pics of yourselves back in day on KH machinery, that would be ace to scan in too...memories, tips on restoration, plus specials like four, or V6 triples are also great to have in there.

I've owned the 250 and 400 in the past, but all I did was cane the nuts off `em when I was younger, I am no expert. I don't want the book to have too many errors in it, so all info and advice is greatly appreciated.

Will be at the NEC on 27th November ( preview day Friday ) if anyone is going, and the classic Motor Show next Friday 13th Nov.

Would think you will get some good help off lots off here, Sounds like a good idea to have a book accurately telling the story of the triples, the more stuff in print the better as I see it provided it accurate and honest and shows the passion of triples. hope you dont miss out a bit about the KH250.

Think RB should be involved somewhere with this as well, especially at the proof reading stage, to advise about anything inaccurate so it can be altered before it goes to the printers.

I will be in touch soon - NEC next week, hope to get info on the KH400 Cup from some contacts there.

Tryin to attach a KH400 pic from NEC Classic Motor Show...my own `79 model was this groovy colour. Still got the velvet loon pants...
