tony_d123

Met Office forecast....

Mainly dry and bright with some sunshine but with a few light showers still possible and with only light westerly winds. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Could be a good one.

could be interesting,

http://herculesrun.co.uk/Pages/He...0Route/hercules_run_Route2009.htm

100ml to destination ride out with no petrol stations en route and only 80mls to a tank full on the triples, over the moors....
tony_d123

You could have a point there! 65 mile range if I'm careful.

May have to splash & dash at Brock then detour into Settle? Otherwise its strap a can on the back.

Some pics from todays run....

The standard pic of Suzuki Dave fiddling with his bike

Brian has a top-up.....

Destination reached, Gawthorpe Hall, Padiham....

Overrun by well over 100 greasy bikers....

And Dave gets a result, wins best Jap bike with his newly aquired GT750
(has he been getting lessons from Simon on how to win trophies?)....

Well done Higgsy, another great day out.

HIGGSPEED

nice pictures there from the chancellor   . glad you couldnt make it simon
nearly had a problem though, i noticed a wobble on the front end getting worse and worse. when we stopped for lunch after about 60 miles i discovered that both front wheel clamps were so loose you could rattle them up and down and the spindle was loose
Still it was its first run out ....ever        so i was chuffed to win best japanese trophy.
Great day out though, looking forward to next year.
garyb
