Nice lookin ride. Question for ya...what's those holes in the grab rail? I see blinkers mounted but those holes look like they are for the stems.

s3's and s1c's had indicators mounted on frame, all other later s series had them mounted on the grabrail.
so s3 and s1c grabrail is unique and as rare as .....

Grab rail. When I bought the bike, this is how it was, with the indicators in the frame. Since the pic, I have changed them into the grab rail holes, as there is obviously a choice. Simon knows more about this than I do, so it does appear they should be on the rail.
Cheers, John. :D

How do you like that euro rear fender? I myself am mixed. I thought about buying the one I saw a while back on ebay but it seems to take from the 'sportbike' look. Are you doing the stock setup or did you ditch the parts that were indicative of the slower design (ie: restrictive airbox, jetting, ect).

I prefer the look without the rear fender, so I will be taking it off soon, and I'll see how I feel then. As you rightly say, it looks sportier without it, so I think it will be staying off. Everything else is stock, i.e. air filter, jets, and exhaust. One of the baffles is too short, but hopefully it will be replaced with a new one soon.
Cheers, John. :D
