Few questionA few questions:
I can't remember how to set the ignition timing with the Boyer kit, is it timing light on N0.1 cylinder at 3,000 RPM?
Whats the running in milage for new bores/pistons etc?
How do I set the oil pump?
Thanks for any help.

any cylinder (as they all fire the same time) and i think its 3000 but brian will chip in, i havent had one for a while.
pistons/rings/bores just a few decent heat cycles, not loading the engine, new crank just a few more.
oil pump has two marks, one for idle, one for wideopen throttle. Personally i set the WOT mark just under, if its a kh250 pump, set it even lower - as they provide way too much oil

Here you go.................................
From the kit instructions.
Start and run engine for four to five minutes to warm engine and electronic unit.
Connect strobe light to centre spark plug and time at 3000 rpm against the c/f mark on the alternator or a modified mark if this has been proved inacurate with a dial guage.
Strobe readings above 3000 rpm should be ignored as delay in some strobe lamps will show a retarded ignition.
Adjustment is by the slotted holes in the stator plate.
Paul.
