like the paint schemes a little better on the earlier bikes, abit more old school then the newer' Kh's + was my early era........ 8)

Pretty sure i voted on this one.Definitely Kh250 and then it would be the B2 model.I reckon Kawasaki got the colours and pinstripe spot on to better show the tear drop shape of the tank which for me is lost with some of the other colour schemes.Dont find the B1 scheme unattractive but the paint seemed to fade quite quickly on these and they got tatty quickly.It also pleases me to discover after scouring the net and contrary to what they spout in CMM that th B2 is every bit as fast as an early S1.Disregarding the top speed issue which differ massively for all models from test to test(83 MPH for an s1??) the standing quarter mile times are pretty well identical :)

Not mine specially after working on the porting and heads to overboost SimonH at the southern 2008 and also the french guy who will coming with his 71 S2 (four bearing crankshaft).

Voted S3....go figure but I can't knock the rideability and reliability of the one I own. It loves the country roads and I like driving them. A definite balance of power, speed, and weight. :thumright:

Difficult choice between S1 and KH250 but had to vote for the KH250 as they are the bikes i have owned, but it all came from going to the dealers on a Saturday morning and drooling over the S1`s they had there and dreaming that one day i would have one.
Thank god for those schooldays looking at the S1`s on show otherwise i could have ended up riding a Yamaha or Suzuki, and i dont think i could now live with the shame.

Very rare as the S1 were sold new at first on 1972, but it's beleive that 10 were built on 70 so...

Has to be S3A - prefer the machete paint job.
I can remember reading S1C road test in MCN or MCW and thinking that's what I want but somehow ended up buying my friends Honda G5 (stop laughing please!! it was cheap cos he'd fallen off and got scared) A year later I saw a red S3A ........ only time I came close to changing it was for a purple H2C which was onsale outside the Altrincham Kwacker dealer. That I didn't buy it is one of the few regrets I have ......
