400 S3a badgesAfter a new set of 400 S3a badges for the side panels, I put the tank, tail, front mudguard and side panels in for custom paint today and the 400 badges are a bit naff.
Thanks.

Not wanting to moan but I payed you £350 for an S3 engine in "good" condition, the crank is shagged with knackered bearings, the crank cases are damaged and have stripped stud holes, the cylinders are scored and need helicoils fitted for the exhaust studs, the pistons are scored the heads are pitted (one beyond repair)
So all I can use from this engine are the side covers, the cylinders (after a re-bored with new pistons and helicoiled) and two heads (after repair)!

Because this was the only S3 engine I found for sale after weeks of hunting and I can make one good engine with my original crankshaft and cases, I'll get the cylinders re-bored and new pistons and I have fitted helicoil's for the exaust studs already with new studs, I just need to find a right hand head in good condition.
