400 modthoughts on 400 inlet stubs modified to fit rd250 carbs.
Worth a go, dont know what jet ranges etc will be like, but i know the motor runs fine.
bonus one less 3 way cable, as chokes on carbs :thumright:

what size are rd250 carbs 30mm? same as H2?,
X7 carbs same size as H2,
sounds like a seizure to me....lol....not,
all triples have under sized carbs !!,..
think about it, if a 250 suzuki has 30mm carbs thats 125cc per pot @30mm carb, we are definately down tuned,
34's on my 750 is vast improvement to stock,.
why not kawasaki,
s2 350 with H2 carbs Aylors sez stick with orig jets, 105 mains? but had work to motor,.
gobbeldegook.......oh yes,.

sounds like a good plan to me Simon or possibly rd400 carbs. I have been messing with the carbs on my RD400c and they seem to be a better carb than the KH ones. They have proper emulsion tubes and a lot less air bleed passageways than the kh. Plus there are shit loads of em on e bay!! They are also piss easy to balance with individual tickover screws (i know the 400 has them anyway) and a blanking screw in the body to align the cables with the dots on the slides. Also the chokes are joined together by a pipe, you should be able to extend this to a third carb easy enough. I would be interested to see the results :thumright:

i think rd400 carbs are too big. the inlets are modded to take these rd carbs as an 'interference' fit. worth a blast
