400 engine for saleStandard bore, with 2 Kawasaki NOS pistons, 1 very good Kawasaki piston and 3 sets of Kawasaki NOS rings. New gudgeon pins and bearings. About 600 miles since topend rebuild. KH400 carbs, new friction plates and oil. doesnt slip with standard pipes, but did with my becketts (only in 2nd at higher revs). complete lump apart from lefthand side, no covers on left, no timing gear and no rotor (i am keeping these as spares)
Simply put you could put on your lefthand stuff on (kh400 or s3, Kh250, s1 or s2!) and it would be ready to go.
All gears select fine. I used this engine last year when my 250 had gearbox problems, laid it up in october.
