Here's my S2. Had it since last spring. Did 2000 kms this summer without much trouble, but of course there's always something... Thought I'd put it here next to the other Norwegian one...
Hope this one'll see more of its brother S2's in the future than before...
Bike now has new Higgspeeds, engine crash guard, S2A luggage rack. And before spring come, will get new complete clutch from wire to input shaft, new rear tire, full front&rear rim treatment with new SS spokes, new full set of engine covers(4), new oil pump with gear, new 1st and 2nd gear, new paintjob on crankcase, barrels & heads blasted, light gasket-match porting job on intakes, rechroming front&rear brake parts outside of panel, touch-up paint job on frame, battery case and brake panels. Parts already here, and maybe this post'll get me goin'..? Anyway, we've had a meter of snow this last week, so I think I can do before season take off.

Hi!
Have one bad picture only, taken with phone cam. Bad idea in -17C
Got a picture from seller of this rack mounted on new bike when bought from Kawasaki dealer back in 72, but that was on a computer which is f***d now... :(
The rack is - don't get mad at me - modified to make it fit the slightly different tail piece. I cut off arms that pointed forwards, and welded in a mounting next to the reflector. I might make up a completely different one later, because I think it's a bit biiiiiiiig...
Will try to get to seller again and post that old picture...

| Aye mate. About time you pop over again. I'm pretty sure that Der Knapp will lend you the S2 again. It has barely been ridden since you were here. |

Yes! That's the one.
Any known history on it You can share with me on saturday... Or maybe even better here as such important things have a tendency to disappear between last drink and next morning
Jan D  was my math and physics teacher a few years ago up in Trondheim. At one point in the class he started to talk about two stroke engines to explain some mathematical problem. Think it was to illustrate how rpms vary with turns on air screw - it is highest at one point in/out, an integral solution of a problem. He knows how to get his students interested in his stuff, that guy!
And - with time, to hook up new members for KTCN :thumright:
