well i have been out on the kh400 tonight , after I put some new steering head bearings in because i had issues with it not turning in right, that all seems to be ok now, turns in really good but my other main issue is that as all you gurus know is the vibration on the front , konky as said its the crank whats fooked but its not on acceleration its on decceleration took it gently up to 70 as i am still running it in and it feels ok not planted to the ground like the 250, a bit bouncy in fact but as soon as you take the throttle off the vibration at the front is noticeable it more a up and down motion not a side to side
could it be the crank ??? as i have said I would have thought it would be have been the crank on acceleration not decceleration
cheers
Al

maybe even something in the final drive, gearbox/clutch/chain alignment (tightness) espcially as it only happens when youre decelerating - ie when the roads turning the engine |

swapped the front wheel today with the 250 , then family turned up so i could'nt get chance to take it out this evening 'Bollocks'
anyway after inspecting the wheel which i took of i noticed that the beading ring that grab the rim are not even displaced all way round and where its weighted the were no bead rings showing
i took it up to my local bikers shop and they re set the tyre on the rim i dont know if this is where my problem is ???
but will be able to tell when i take the 400 out tomorrow with the 250 wheel on
Heres hoping

An uneven tyre will certainly shake your fillings out (especially at the front), but you said that it had been fitted properly in an earlier post... _________________ :

Gra,
you would expect a fookin bike tyre fitter to fit a bloody tyre on properly wouldnt you, thats why i didnt fit it myself
Its not dead certain that this is the problem but hope it is might do anice little run up to yours after all
cheers
