Home at last :D after nearly 2 years on holiday in Drapers shed !!!!
Many thanks to the motorcycle collection & delivery outfit, a dodgy looking couple of geezers I know but it was a 1st class service and dirt cheap
I was shocked, having not laid eyes on it for over a year it looks better than I thought

You mean you don't know !
See here, this is as I bought the bike via Draper nearly two years ago:

and here:
http://www.kawasakitriplesuk.info/viewtopic.php?t=4620&highlight=
and also at the Northern 2007, mmmm not quite finished putting her back together as u can see but I said I'd take it and we did.
We decided to build the bike back up as it was, I might add that no new/replacement parts have been used, it fired on 2 :D :D
And we have done nothing to it since, apart from put the chain on :(
The bike was originally sold new by a local dealer to us, Kustom Kawasaki in Hednesford, went to a local town to live (Tamworth) and then back to Hednesford. The owner in Hednesford dismantled the bike with a view to restoring it (he used to work for Kustom Kawasaki back in the days) and then found himself going thru a divorce, hence new owner via Draper, ME :D Nice that the bike has remained fairly local tho in it's life.
Since the Northern 2007 little has been done, she has had the chain put on, fired her up again and that's about it, it has been kindly stored in Drapers shed ever since as I had the H****a to finish and could find no extra room here :( However since the H****a has been finished and has now been sent to another garage to retire (good old mum n dad) we could make room for me KH and..... finally it arrived back home Sunday just before the white stuff came down :D
Now where shall we start on the bike :D |
