Today I traded my trusty old kz for my first triple.  The bike I traded was a 1982 kz750 four cylinder.  It was a great bike, and completed a trip to sturgis and back this summer.  Ran it down the dragstrip a couple times, and rode it through a pretty rough storm.  The bike has always been there for me when i needed it.  I robbed the carbs and a few other things off of it to get my project bike running and it has just been sitting in the garage ever since.  Finally found a triple, and decided it was time for the kz to go.

Here is the kz loaded up and ready to go to its new home  :(

AND now for the triple pics.

The bike is a 72 s2, odometer reads 6600 miles, and last licensed in 1982.  The bike is in very rough shape and has been sitting outside for a long time.  The motor is stuck, but other than that it seems to be very complete and should be a good project.  Any ideas for getting it unstuck?
Tried soaking it in ATF, but still no luck. Also, as you can see the forks are pretty rough, and the chrome is peeling off of the lowers.  I want to go with a a modern frontend, but would like to be able to use a spoked rim with a disc.  Any ideas?

only time will tell if those jugs will comeoff, looks pretty heavy corrosion.  I think its a acetone and atf mix that works best, or a big tank of diesel might do the trick.

But you may just have to smash the pistons out, but i have unstuck similar 8)

get the engine soaking whilst you do other stuff

Over at the kawasaki triples worldwide forum, i have seen a few posts of the little triples with 500 motors stuffed in.  The guy i bought this bike from has an h1 motor in his storage and i think i will go this route with my s2.  He wants $250.  Do you think it is possible to make this $250 by parting out the 350 motor?  Also, are any of you guys interested in any of the parts before they hit ebay?
