Hi again,The thread is stripped in the 2 stoke pump for the bottom banjo bolt (main feed) is my only opption a helicoil ,if so what size would i require,could i pick one up at stafford show,your help is appreciated,

if you helicoil, you must strip the oilpump completely and wash out properly, or kaboom

i've got a working pump here for 25 quid

They are M6 banjo bolts on the pump, so an M6 Helicoil kit will do the job, drill to 6.5mm then tap.

Pump strip is recommended as above.

Can you just get the banjo bolt ? i broke mine and fitted one from another bike but its shorter and not sure about it.

thinks you would be better with the helicoil, 2nd hand pumps are all the same, stripped, unless you get lucky..from a freindly board member,

Don't know if you can get the bolts new, but they do turn up (often with a pump), if you're handy with a drill you can make your own. (Wolfie tips #451)
